I’m so excited to share this project created by sound/visual artist Robs Pugliese, myself and Fabrizio Sotti, virtuoso guitarist and Italian producer but now American by adoption for many years. It was lockdown, we had wanted to work together for years and suddenly we had time to.
Lyrically, I was thinking about the games being played internationally at the time. I felt like we were on a precipice….

From our collaboration the single "To Wake Up" was born, a hypnotic song with a multiethnic and magnetic sound that you can find on spotify at this address:

Remembering Jane Judd. Jane was a beautiful dancer and one of the most supportive people I have ever met. Without her I wouldn’t have recorded Blood Red Sun. She helped me organise tours in Scotland as well as countless other shows, she gave me confidence to continue and choreographed the dance for my video for Icicles, directed by her beautiful son @jackjuddfilm I can’t believe she’s gone. I thought we’d have time to catch up. She was a very dear friend and I’m very grateful to have known her. Rest in peace Jane xx

It’s International Day of Forests today. I filmed this a month ago before I moved. If you listen you can hear an owl hooting. It’s a twofold thing. One of the things I enjoy the most is night walking, and night walking in a forest near a city is a rare luxury, for most but I think especially women, who are already massively wary of walking at night. This place where I walked is the one place I’ve always felt safe and is a constant source of joy. Do you have one of these magic places?
